Christmas 2006

On the 23rd, there was the Sec 1 orientation in school, and I had to go with the PSLs, but due to unforseen circumstances (namely my procrastination of purchasing my uniform), I chose to go with NCC instead of Peer Support.

Our first job was to stand around to "help" the teachers with the registration of the Sec 1’s. I really didn’t see how they needed my help, so I stood around behind her, standing idle but looking pretty =P and all macho in my army uniform.

Anyway, I soon got very bored (as we all were) of standing around looking at innocent children being led to their fate of being in a damn good school =P, so I walked around (illegally), but tried to look important, so no one tried to intervene or interfere with my (non-existent) business.

I talked to friends, eventually got SO bored of being confined to one place, that I started to walk around the school, until the PSLs got called off duty. I then went to the bookshop to help out, where I lazed about till we were dismissed. Hey, it was better than doing nothing… At least there it was interesting with company (that you could lie on, literally), and they actually got paid for it. Knowing me, I refused the check since I really didn’t do anything, so I was honest enough to walk away. (How much could it be? A few bucks?)

Then I went to Mr Ang’s house for the CHRISTMAS PARTY!!! Where we exchanged presents, watched movies, played Kokology, and had total 100% FUN. Then Mr Ang brought us all to dinner, where we had a feast, supposedly his treat, but everyone ended up force-feeding him money… Haha =P (I don’t think he was expecting that…)

Christmas Eve was great! I watched Narnia (for the second time) at noon (right after waking up), but this time it was much better, cuz of the "cinema experience" that piracy obviously does not offer.

I had choir practice after the movie (and after lunch too), but went extra late, and missed quite a majority of the practice. Anyway, it so happened that our choir was DAMN good that night, probably as good as carolling (maybe even better).

After dinner at my grandparent’s place (with SUPER beef), we went back for the midnight mass, to hear the choir. However, it was kind of a let-down, especially toward the beginning of the mass, but they improved toward the end.

I say, and my parents agree, that MY choir was better, and the 11pm mass was not worth going to, but after the mass, I met SO MANY friends, and some long-lost ones as well… (Janice, Amanda, Alicia, etc.)

So now, its last-minute Christmas present wrapping time, and I have to find preesnts to wrap, so…

MERRY CHRISTMAS AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS!!!

God bless,
Gab.
